Is Memmoth free?
Free for up to 5 people, including notes, gift ideas, birthday reminders and Face ID lock. Premium adds unlimited people, calendar prep, widgets and custom reminders. In the U.S. it is $19.99 per year (with a 7-day free trial), $2.99 per month, or $49.99 once. The current price is always shown in the app.
Where are my notes stored?
Only on your iPhone. Memmoth has no servers; your notes are included in your iPhone's own iCloud or computer backup. You can also export them to a single file.
Does it read my contacts?
No. We use Apple's contact picker, so no permission is even requested. Only the people you pick are copied once: name, birthday and a small photo.
What does it use my calendar for?
For the optional Premium feature “Before you meet”. Events are read only, matched to your people on your iPhone, never stored and never sent anywhere. You can turn it off anytime.
What if I switch phones?
When you restore your new iPhone from a backup, Memmoth comes with it. You can also make a one-file backup in Settings and restore it on the new phone.
If my subscription ends, do I lose my notes?
No. You can still see, edit and export everyone; only adding new people beyond the free limit and the Premium features stop.
Is there an Android or iPad version?
Not yet. Memmoth is for iPhone (iOS 17 or later).
